PHASED REOPENING DETAILS
After months of anticipation we are pleased to be reopening our restaurant doors on
Wednesday 15th July 2020
We know these last few months have been hard and so as a special treat for you all we've decided to bounce back with a STEAK & CURRY CLUB menu
It will be available both lunchtime and evening EVERY day until further notice
Things will be a little different at first so please take your time to read the changes before you arrive.
We’ve tried to break it down into 10 sensible steps....
Please book in advance by at least 6pm the day before your arrival. Bookings can be made over the phone 01427 872208 or via our website www.redlionepworth.co.uk.
At this moment in time we will not be accepting ‘walk-ins’
No more than 6 people per table – all attending must be from the same household or ‘bubble’
In order to comply with the Government’s track and trace system and maintain your safety, contact details must be given at the time of booking
(these will be stored securely for 21 days and then destroyed)
Due to reduced staff numbers, the kitchen will be operating on a reduced food and drink menu.
A disposable paper menu will be provided and some offers have been removed for now.
Our usual Sunday lunch will not be available until further notice.
Table Service Only
All food and drink orders will be taken by a member of staff at your table.
There is to be no standing or seating at the bar. Contactless payments are encouraged
We will be operating on reduced hours and so will be closed on Monday's and Tuesday's.
We will be opening from 12 noon (closing time will depend on that evening's bookings)
Your table will be available to you for approximately 2 hours
(as we need time to give each table and chairs a full sanitisation before the next customer)
Only 1 customer per time in the toilet please (unless escorting your child)
children are still welcome but must be included in your booking number of 6. They are to remain seated at all times and must be accompanied to the toilet by an adult from the same household
due to the Government rules there will be no live or loud music available until further notice.
Jinksy’s bar will remain closed until further notice.
please arrive at your specified booking time through our front door in the market square.
Please wait for a member of staff who will escort you to your table to be seated.
On leaving the premises, please exit via the back door, towards the car park
Health and Safety
for everyone’s safety there will be various measures in place in addition to those listed above:
hand sanitisers will be available and customers are encouraged to use them
we will be operating a strict one way policy,
tables have been reduced and repositioned to maintain a safe 2 metre distance
and we ask that guests do not move furniture about or attempt to sit at another table with another household.
We know this all sounds very strict but we must comply with the rules for the safety of customers and staff – anybody not following the rules stated above will sadly be asked to leave the premises.
